Platon is one of the biggest names in commercial photography, many poeple dont give him good reviews because of his work being so one dimensional, and the fact that his work is so highly retouched leaves other photographers feeling like he doesnt actually do much, wheat he has dont is created a style that big names in politics, music, celebrities would like to associate with. He uses such a simple lighting set up that could be done anywhere, he only uses on softbox light slightly above his subjects in order for there to be some contrast for the retoucher to work. I really do admire the fact that he doesnt analyse himself or care what other photographers think of him because he is doing his thing and getting work that only some of us can dream of.
